What Is a 28 Foot Wide Greenhouse Kit? The 28' Pro Series Explained

If you've been growing for a while, you already know that space is everything. More rows, wider aisles, better airflow, and room to actually move equipment through your structure without playing Tetris — these things matter when you're running a real operation.
That's exactly why we built the 28' Pro Series.
It's our widest, most heavy-duty greenhouse and high tunnel kit to date, and it's designed specifically for commercial market gardeners, working farms, and NRCS grant applicants who need a structure built to perform season after season.

WHY CHOOSE A 28 FOOT WIDE GREENHOUSE KIT?
A few things set this series apart from our existing lineup — and they're not small differences.
Heavier steel. Every hoop, bow, and ground stake in the 28' Pro Series is built with 14-gauge galvanized steel. Our standard kits use 16-gauge steel, which is solid and proven across 4,000+ kits shipped. But 14-gauge is noticeably heavier and stiffer — you feel the difference the moment you pick up a hoop. For a 28' wide span, that extra strength matters.
Five purlins instead of three. Our standard kits include three purlins running the full length of the structure. The 28' Pro Series includes five — all 16-gauge steel. More purlins mean more connection points for your hoops, better lateral stability, and a structure that holds its shape under wind, snow load, and the weight of film over a wide span.
A 14-foot center peak. The wider span gives you a taller structure — 14 feet at the center peak. That's meaningful headroom for tall crops, hanging baskets, or simply working comfortably inside your greenhouse without feeling like you're crouching.
28 feet of width. This sounds simple, but it changes what's possible. A 28' wide structure accommodates four to five growing rows with real working aisles between them. You can run a walk-behind implement or a cart down the center without disturbing your crop rows. Light distribution is more even. And your cost per square foot drops compared to running multiple narrower structures side by side.
THREE STYLES TO FIT YOUR OPERATION
The 28' Pro Series comes in three configurations:
Fully Braced —
Our straightforward, heavy-duty single-layer kit. Everything you need to put up a serious structure, nothing you don't. Starting at $3,650.
NRCS —
The Fully Braced kit with roll-up side walls added, engineered to meet USDA NRCS
high tunnel specifications for EQIP grant reimbursement. If you're planning to apply for the NRCS high tunnel grant, this is your kit. Starting at $4,450.
Four Season —
Built for growers who need year-round production even in cold climates. Features two layers of 6-mil greenhouse film on top with a small inflator fan to create an insulating air pocket between the layers. The double-layer system significantly improves heat retention and extends your growing season deep into winter. Starting at $4,350.

AVAILABLE IN NINE SIZES
The 28' Pro Series is available in lengths from 28' all the way up to 120', giving you growing space from 784 square feet up to 3,360 square feet. All sizes ship free to the freight terminal nearest you — no surprise fees at checkout.
