How will my greenhouse kit/high tunnel ship?Shipping Information: We offer FREE terminal to terminal shipping (*Continental US only). We use freight terminals in order to ship to the terminal nearest you for pickup at no additional cost to you. Your greenhouse will arrive on an 8 ft long x 4 ft wide x 3 ft tall pallet (larger buildings will have two pallets). The terminal will load the pallet onto your trailer for you. The steel is bundled so that it may be hand-unloaded upon reaching your final destination. You can find your nearest fright location by contacting us or by clicking the following link: OLD DOMINION FREIGHT LOCATOR

What is meant by "freight shipping" and how do I know which freight terminal is closest to me?Freight shipping just means we utilize large trucks to move your kit to a destination close to you for pickup. We utilize a variety of large, national shipping companies so that we can find the freight terminal closest to you at no additional charge. We have built a relationship with these freight companies that allows us to ship our kits to the terminal nearest to you, the customer for pick up. To find the nearest freight location, call us at 417-350-879, and we would be happy to look it up for you. The terminal location map for our primary carrier can be found here: OLD DOMINION

How long will it be before I get my kit once I've placed my order? As soon as you have placed your order through our website or paid your invoice (custom orders), your order will be processed immediately and placed in our build queue. The time frame for completion of your kit will depend on the season and demand as we build each kit to suit and operate on a first come, first serve basis. Average time is 12-14 days from payment to shipping out from payment. You need to allow a few days for your kit to travel to the final pick up destination. Feel free to call us at 417-350-8979 for current ship times.

How long do I have to pick up my kit once the terminal calls me?Once your kit ships, you will receive tracking information so you can follow your kit online the entire way as it moves to the final terminal destination. When your greenhouse or high tunnel has arrived at the terminal and is unloaded, they (the shipping company) will call you to arrange pick up. At this time, you will need to schedule when you will be at the terminal with your trailer to pick up your kit. You do not have to pick up your kit on the same day, but within a reasonable time frame. Communication with the terminal is key. A couple of days after contact has been made is usually not a problem. I have only experienced issues when a kit has been left at the terminal for an extended period of time. If a kit is left for an extended period of time without communication, storage fees may occur and require payment before your kit can be picked up. If you have any problems getting to the terminal or need help contacting the terminal, please feel free to contact us at 417-350-8979. We will assist any way we can! 🙂

How hard is it to build a greenhouse or high tunnel kit?Our kits are designed as a do-it-yourself project. We will provide an instructional video, written instructions, diagrams, and customer support throughout your build. We are only a phone call or text away! All of our designs are a plug in style, with you placing the stakes in the ground, and then plugging in the provided pieces. You can then secure the pieces with the hardware that we provide. The final step is your covering, which attaches with our simple wiggle wire and channel system.

What is the snow load and wind rating? We have been in business for over 13 years and built over 3,000 buildings. They are all over the continental US including some of the most brutal weather areas (Minnesota, Montana, New York, and Utah too, just to name a few). We also have kits in Canada that are doing great. Our tight arch design allows for snow to slide off of our kits and wind to go up and over. We also provide 3 steel purlins that run the entire length of the high tunnel, wind braces, cross braces on every hoop and drop down steel for our 24 wide kits just to be safe. We are, however, a non-rated system.
